Believe me, I really wanted to stop writing about Bersih 2.0 rally until I read about the stupendous dose of stupidity on the part of our "men in blue". First and foremost, I must apologise to some of my good friends who are still in the force plus those who have left the force, I pray that you would not see my political bend on this matter but mere common sense. So, buddies, wherever you are, my sincere apologies but more importantly, the investigations on the recent "findings' of mischievous items of trying to cause havoc during the Bersih rally is truly laughable and a laughing stock for police investigations. I really expect our people in blue to stop taking the simplistic path of pin pointing such "stupid" evidence on the rally walkers. Should actually check the Police Evidence Room first to see if any of the previous days/weeks evidence of Bersih T-shirts or some street gang war items are missing there!
Come on! Petrol bombs, parangs , machete and what not are being planted at specific locations so that these so-called policemen on duty could find them is a REALLY far -fetched story indeed! Even a spastic fella would understand that you would not stashed things like this " "so openly and suspiciously " so that people can find it-lar. Aiyoo! The credibility and the reputation of the RMP is TOTALLY tarnished once and for all this time. The least these people can do is do a thorough investigations on who would benefit the most if chaos occur. Certainly not the Bersih organisers-lar. Certainly not the TRUE BERSIH supporters. Simple logic will tell you who would benefit the most - especially those shouting so loud about bloodshed and trying to stop the "Walk"-lar.
Let's be logical and cast away sentiments/biasness/prejudices, shall we? The scenario is simply this - the Organisers had assured/said/spoke till saliva fills to buckets, time and time again, it is a PEACEFUL walk. TRUE supporters of BERSIH would not go to that length to jeopardise their cause, would they? WHO then spoke and shouted so loudly about bloodshed and hooliganism or even fearful of planted hooligans to cause havoc? WHO-ar? What about deployment of martial arts exponents of various kinds to show boisterous support? WHO-ar?Listen, if I am going to create havoc in such a rally, I might as well use Kapak Siam, which is easily concealable or even smaller concealed weapons like knuckle buster, blistered chains, pen knives and so on , right? Why go through such a length to keep those items are strategic places when one can carry them with one self? Look, as I was looking at the pictures of the seized parangs, these are the ones which are usually used by Indons during the clashes at their kongsi and usually over women trouble-lar! As for the petrol bombs or petrol cocktails , it doesn't need a genius to assemble such a concoction, man. For Bersih t-shirt, gosh, there had been so many cases of confiscation of Bersih t-shirts and 1,001 printers plus garment manufacturers in the country, man. Come on-lar. There has to be tighter and more professional approach in investigations, man.
The other point from me is that outsiders coming in to join in the rally is really unavoidable and these are the ones that would most probably be "planted" or even cajoled into joining the walk to kick a fuss and create havoc. Hell, a fistful of ringgits in the hands of some drug addicts, Mat Gian, Rempits, Sikals, Indons, Myanmars, Boh Sia ,Bakul Sia or whatever, who knows what can happen, right? But the question has always been this - Who are the ones handing out the fistful of ringgits that are not caught? Instead, these fellas end up in some dump somewhere later on or even been given a ticket " Go Out of Jail" seasoned pass! It has always been like that because troublemakers will make peaceful rallies difficult. I hope that good supporters would quickly identify and stand up to "identify" these troublemakers when something do happen. It is always that people shy away from identifying these rascals that led to these rascals walking scot-free! Ahh! It's the Malaysian culture, already. What's the use when we have so many incidences that had happened in this country and these people blatantly got scot-free because "they want to express themselves" like what our so-called nauseating Home Minister confessed, right? Well, the men in blue is as guilty as the inconsistent and erroneous Home Minister but I believe that the chain of command comes from the top. If the rot is at the top of the command chain, how do you expect the bottomliners to follow otherwise except for some brave souls, of course , who will be persecuted for failing to adhere to command, right?
I believe, good and true supporters of Bersih would adhere to a peaceful rally. I remembered in my younger days when I was at school, my BM teacher, Cikgu Ramli used to teach us about "perkatan lawan" . So, perkatan lawan untuk "BERSIH" is "KOTOR"! Funny, isn't it? Such a clean word can mean so dirty to so many corrupt people! Hmmmmmmnnnnnnn.......interesting!
