What a Walk....

DISGRACEFUL and DISGUSTING are the two words I would describe to the chains of events which had unfolded in our nation today. These words aptly described the actions taken by the RMP and though they hogged the limelight at every available Govt station, news and electronic media which blared their horns that they did well. To me, they are real reason why there are so many injuries to the BERSIH walkers. Shooting out tear gas canister at dangerous range, chasing, bringing down, roughing and hounding walkers like a bunch of blood thirsty hounds. It's an absolute disgrace and inhumane, man.
I have never been so disgusted in my life when our so-call leaders claim success for the clampdown of the walkers and so on. What laughable success are you talking about? Had it not been the unnecessary roadblocks , checking and blocking out of the roads towards the intended place, you would see a sea of people walking in peace for a good cause. Evidently, that the prospect of having more people join the walk absolutely petrified and mystified them. So, the RMP has to do their job of maintaining law and order but I have never seen a more determined crowd. BTW, how does it feel to bludgeon, hound, harrass, kick and whack the daylights out of your fellow citizens? Does it feel good to hurt innocent people? Does it gives you joy in breaking the legs, hands, neck, bones and scream blood on your fellow citizen's body?  I wonder if the authorities and the so-called people who govern this country could actually sleep at night and have a conscience? If the IGP says that this is just a restrained exercise on the part of the RMP, why don't he volunteers to be bludgeoned by his own FRU unit people? Ah! God knows and God is watching.
Today, I saw Malaysians from all walks of life come together to walk for a good purpose. Today, I saw racial barriers torn down and Malaysian from all walks of life coming in unity to rise up against a non-hearing and corrupt community of leaders. I am really inspired and encouraged by these brave souls. From the beginning to the end, I did not see any person out to create havoc at the so-called illegal walk. It is and always will be known as a peaceful rally. Somehow, the twisted authorities soon carried out orders to fire water cannons and what not at the walkers. It was really disheartening to know that a peaceful rally walk could evoke such a reaction from the RMP and the FRU unit. It is shameful to claim success when we all know the truth behind it - publicity stunt and a way to con the minds of the simple folks back in the rural areas. Woi, wake up, even the rural area are waking up and tired of such tirade of lies! A good friend of mine in a kampung called me to tell me that the Gomen are probably out of their minds for carrying out such scare tactics. He further told me it won't work anymore-lar.Gosh! The price of democracy and freedom over the eradication of corruption and power abuses. John Maxwell is right when he said ," Absolute power corrupts absolutely."
God, have mercy in this land of ours. God, hear the cry of your people over the corrupt nation and leaders we served.Give strength to the renewed, rejuvenated and the restored people! God, have mercy over our nation!
To the BERSIH rally walkers, I salute each and everyone of YOU!
